This wood is on the northern outskirts of Dumfries with parking near the south end of the Dumfries Aviation Museum runway. The area is owned by Forest Enterprise and is a flattish wood with most of the contour detail in the central section of the map. There is a good network of paths and rides which makes it ideal for the shorter less technical courses.
